Using Blocksmith Remotely

Hello Blocksmith Teachers,
During this uncertain time caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), we are reaching out to support our teachers. We have been watching as schools are closing and some are taking their courses online to teach remotely. We want to let you know that BlocksmithXR is here to support you.
As you know, our licenses allow for unlimited students to use the software and curriculum. The only restriction is it needs to happen in the same geographic location, like a school. To help with the situation, we are lifting this restriction temporarily to allow full access to students working from home.
This means that students can use the licensed version of the BlocksmithXR Builder and have access to the full curriculum from home.
This will be available to students until June 15, 2020. This is a temporary bridge and happening on a honor system basis.
To give your students access to a Licensed Builder at home we are allowing teachers to give out the Licensed Downloads from their Domain Dashboards.
To do this:
- Login to blocksmithxr.com with your workspace admin or teacher account
- Go to the Licensed Downloads tab in your workspace
- Windows and Mac: Download installers and send/share with your students
WebGL: Copy and send/share link with your students
